Horse Reality has 7 disciplines in which horses can compete against each other. Every continent has its own set of competitions, each competition lasts for 2 hours. After a competition has finished there is a period to send out rewards that last roughly 15 minutes.
There is an all-breeds category where horses can compete against all others, in addition to breed-specific competitions where only horses of the same breed compete against each other.
To enter a competition, click on Competitions under “Events” in the left menu of the Horse Reality website.
A horse can be entered into a competition once it has completed basic training and started training in the desired discipline. This means that only adult horses (>3 years) can be entered. Entering a competition costs an entry fee of 25 HRC per horse. If there are less than 5 entries in a competition level, your entry fees for that level will be refunded upon the conclusion of the competition. Competing will cost the horse -25% energy. You can only participate in competitions if you are on your home continent.
A horse can be entered into 1 breed-specific and 1 all-breeds competition at the same time.
The scoring system for each competition is different depending on the discipline's standards. However, they all (should) take the same factors into consideration:

Upon entering a horse in a competition, you - the player - will receive 10 XP.
When the competition is finished, the owners of the top 3 horses in each level will receive a trophy in their Achievements tab on their horses' profiles. If at least 5 horses entered the competition on that level, the trophy will come with prize money, too. The reward depends on the discipline, level of the competition and the position the horse placed in.
