¶ Conformation
The Suffolk Punch is a heavy, draft breed. They have big, broad but elegantly shaped heads, muscular necks, long shoulders, wide and level backs, and broad croups. Legs are rather short, should be dry and with minimal hair amount. Longer hair on legs is only allowed on heels.[1]
¶ Colour Genetics
The breed is uniformly chestnut, some animals have also flaxen manes and tails. The registry recognises 7 different shades of "chesnut", with the average red coat, mane and tail being the most common. “Chesnut” is the traditional spelling and should always be used when referring to Suffolk Punches.
In Horse Reality, Suffolk Punch horses only have Head White Markings. In real life, white markings are frowned upon, though white on the face is allowed. Socks up to the fetlock are allowed, but regarded as a fault and not acceptable for breeding stallions.[1]

Please note that besides testable genes, untestable ones are also present: flaxen, and white markings (head markings, socks, etc.).
¶ Artwork Updates
The Suffolk Punch was added to the game in 2018. Ever since the current Horse Reality version has been online, the breed received/will receive the following updates:
- New coat variations (colour) on October 14th 2020[2]
- Received a new greyscale on December 6th 2023.[3]
- The missing sooty allele will be added to the game through new Foundation horses.[4][5]

¶ Breed in Real Life
The Suffolk Punch is a medium-sized draft breed from the UK. The Suffolk is bred to work on the heavy grounds in the East of England and is well-known for its enormous pulling power and perseverance. Besides that, they have a lovable and easygoing character and are naturally very healthy and long-lived.
As a result of mechanisation, there is so little left of this breed that it is classified as critically endangered by the Rare Breeds Survival Trust. With only 500 horses left in England, the breed needs much support from their loyal breeders to survive.[4]
