The Fitting Room is a feature on Horse Reality that can be used to try out and purchase different backgrounds for your horses. It is usually updated on the 1st working day of the month. During an update limited backgrounds from the previous month become unavailable and current month-limited decorations return. Every month a new background gets released on the first Monday of the month.
The Fitting Room can be found under “Personal” in the left menu of the Horse Reality website.
¶ Previewing Backgrounds
In the Fitting Room, you can try out a wide variety of backgrounds for your horses. You can select a horse and a background of your choice and see what it will look like in-game. Next to each background, you can also find the number of uses/copies you currently have in your Inventory. Please note this number does not include backgrounds that are already equipped to a horse.
¶ Purchasing Backgrounds
There are currently two ways to purchase backgrounds within the Fitting Room. If you find a background you like, you can purchase it with either Delta Points (DP) or an Orb in the top right of the screen. There are some differences depending on the currency used, but no matter which one is used, only currently available backgrounds can be purchased. Some backgrounds are sold all year round, while others are only available for a limited time. For example, you cannot purchase a December-only background in July.
However, all backgrounds can be previewed at any time. If you do not like the currently available backgrounds, you can look at the upcoming backgrounds and plan your purchases. You cannot preview any upcoming unreleased backgrounds that may have been announced on Horse Reality's social media channels.
¶ Buying Backgrounds with DP
DP can be bought with real money at the Delta Store or obtained in-game which is explained in more detail on the Currencies page.
DP prices of backgrounds start at 250 DP and can increase depending on a variety of factors. However, you will always receive 5 copies of the background you purchase when using DP.
¶ Buying Backgrounds with Orbs
Orbs are one of the perks of a Premium Account. Premium players receive 1 Orb on the first day of each month. Orbs do not expire and can be collected and used at any time, even if your Premium Account expires.
Each Orb can be exchanged for 1 copy of a background of your choice. Orb purchases are done one Orb at a time (no bulk buying) as you can see in the picture below.
If you have selected a horse while purchasing a background, it will automatically be equipped to that horse. Otherwise, the background (or remaining copies) will be added to your inventory. You can equip backgrounds to horses through your Inventory as well.
