Players are able to block and unblock DMs from other players on Horse Reality. This feature can be accessed in your own Settings (next to the Notifications tab), or directly on the profile of the player you wish to block. No matter which method you use, you will be able to see a player who is blocked on both their profile and in your Settings.
¶ Blocking from a Player’s Profile
To block someone from their profile, a grey Block symbol can be found next to the DM button. After pressing this button, a pop-up confirmation window will appear. After accepting you will receive a green notification at the bottom of your screen, confirming you have blocked that player. Additionally, the grey Block button will turn red. You can confirm a player is blocked by visiting your Settings and viewing the “Your Blocked Players” list in the Blocked Tab.
¶ Blocking from Your Settings
To block a player from your Settings, select the Blocked tab. Here you will be able to type in the name of the player you wish to block. After typing in the name, clicking the orange Block button, and accepting a pop-up confirmation you will see the player’s name be added to the “Your Blocked Players” list directly underneath. Every player you have blocked (through their profile or your Blocked tab) will appear in this list. To further confirm that this player is blocked, you can go to their profile and look for the red Blocked button next to the DM button.
¶ Unblocking
Unblocking a player can also be done from either their profile or your Blocked tab in Settings. To unblock a player from their profile, simply click the red Blocked button found next to the DM button and accept the pop-up notification. You will receive a green notification at the bottom of your screen, confirming the unblock. To unblock a player from your Blocked Tab, you can click the red X button found on the right of the screen. After confirming the player will then disappear from the “Your Blocked Players” list.

¶ What happens if you block someone?
If the blocked player tries to send you a message, it will appear to them that the message went through as usual. They will not get an error message or any other notification informing them of the block, so they will never know the message didn’t arrive or that you have blocked them. They will also be able to view your profile as normal. You will not be able to message a blocked player, you will have to unblock them first in order to do so. Blocking only affects DM communication, all other game aspects are still available to the blocked player. This means they will be able to do things like buy your horses, use your studs, and see/reply to anything you post in the Forums.
¶ Can you block moderators/staff?
Yes. By blocking moderators/staff, they will not be able to send you personal DMs (for example, “I want to ask about LFG”). However, they will still be able to send you official game messages, including reminders/warnings (for example, if you have broken the rules), or notifications if you win an official game contest. Blocked mods/staff can still view your profile as normal.

No. All messages you send our team will be delivered to the person you send it to.
